چکیده
In the current study, a green method that can be easily used in different industrial applications, based on modification of sodium exchanged montmorillonite (Na+-Mt) with essential oils (EO) such as thyme oil, thymol and carvacrol was presented. The obtained results show prepared clays-essential hybrids were promising nanomaterials to encapsulate active compounds control their release selectively functional applications. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis study adsorption EO, molecules, interlayer space. To verify into Na+-Mt layers determine temperature range where took place, thermogravimetric (TG) used. Attenuated total reflecting-Fourier-transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy mechanism. space not affected by or molecules. adsorbed molecules from surface above 180 °C. Combination simulation all experimental results, confirm process thymol, place external i) hydrogen bonds between OH groups surface, ii) these shows EO like thyme, its constituents onto an inorganic porous material provides extended controlled chemical stability due protection against environmental conditions. addition, oil (like carvacrol) occurs selective time.

Montmorillonite Nanocomposite Hydrogel Based on Poly(acrylicacid-co-acrylamide): Polymer Carrier for Controlled Release Systems
In this paper, the synthesis of new montmorillonite nanocomposite hydrogel (MMTNH) based on poly (acrylic acid-co-acrylamide) grafted onto starch, is described. Montmorillonite (MMT) as nanometer base, acrylic acid (AA) and acrylamide (AAm) as monomers, ammonium persulfate (APS) as an initiator, N,N-methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) as a crosslinker and starch as a biocompatible polymer were pre...
متن کاملOlive Oil Composition: Volatile Compounds
In general olive oil is defined on the basis of its sensory characteristics. European Union (EU) regulations establish the organoleptic quality of virgin olive oil by means of a panel test, evaluating positive and negative descriptors (EU regulations). For the organoleptic assessment, several volatile compounds are considered as the main responsible for negative and positive attributes. Volatil...
متن کاملVolatile organic compounds from Centaurium erythraea Rafn (Croatia) and the antimicrobial potential of its essential oil.
GC and MS were used for the analysis of Croatian Centaurium erythraea Rafn essential oil (obtained by hydrodistillation) and headspace (applying headspace solid-phase microextraction). The headspace contained numerous monoterpene hydrocarbons (the major ones were terpinene-4-ol, methone, p-cymene, γ-terpinene and limonene). Oxygenated monoterpenes were present in the headspace and oil, while 1,...

Hydrogels, due to their unique potentials such as high-water content and hydrophilicity are interest for the controlled release of drug molecules. The present study aims to create a controlled-release system through the preparation and characterization of hydrogels based on pH-sensitive polymers such as poly (acrylic acid). Poly (acrylic acid), p(AA), hydrogel has been synthesized by radical po...
متن کاملdetection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts
in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
